- The image shows a caterpilar atop a brnach of a tree with fuzzy yellow flowers, and long hanging seed pods. The Latin name of the tree is given as Mimosa (see Vachellia nilotica). Bottom of page: an unattributed quotation, beginning, "Thus there to Man, the voice of Nature spake."
