This dramatization of a work by Virginia Woolf is set in a holiday home in Cornwall overlooked by a distant lighthouse which holds a haunting attraction for the members of an Edwardian family. A compelling story of family relationships complicated by bitterness and disillusionment, and later by World War I and an unexpected death.
