Stone Creek + Deer Creek for waterfalls. Black tie party for raft-men Ray's retirement. 17 June. Nearly destroy painting. A fine line between success + failure! Havasu Canyon jumping into turquoise selzer [sic] water. Stung by a scorpion my hand swells. Packing difficult. Fly back to Marble Canyon. Tony Foster."
