A catalogue of the remaining pictures and unfinished sketches of Sir Thomas Lawrence, P.R.A., deceased : comprising among others the celebrated picture of Satan summoning his legions : a splendid original portrait of George the Fourth in his Coronation Robes : the original drawing of the Princess Charlotte, a miniature of the same : a portrait of George the Fourth, in oils, and another in chalk : George the Third and his Queen, early pictures : and numerous fancy subjects and portraits unfinished : excellent copies of the portraits of the Pope, and Cardinal Consalvi, and the Emperor of Austria, in the King's Collection : two of the Prophets, and two of the Sibyls, copies from those of M. Angelo in the Sistine Chapel, by Bewick, the size of the originals : Famine, a cartoon, in black chalk, by Overbecke, &c. &c. : also, the celebrated portrait of Sir Thomas Lawrence painted by himself : which will be sold by auction, by Messrs. Christie & Manson, at their great room, 8, King Street, St. James's Square, on Saturday, June the 18th, 1831, precisely at one o'clock : may be viewed two days preceding, and catalogues had at Messrs. Christie & Manson's Office, King Street, St. James's Square.
