A Catalogue of a valuable and highly interesting collection of pictures by favourite English artists, consisting of a very choice and fine assemblage of the works of that admired landscape painter Gainsborough, both paintings and drawings, framed and glazed : the property of the late S. Kilderbee, Esq., of Suffolk : who was the particular friend of Gainsborough, and for whom a few of these were painted expressly by the artist : also a capital landscpe by Wilson, and a few other pictures, the property of the Rev. W. Rose, of Cashalton, deceased : the chief of which was painted expressly for Mr. Rose by Wilson : an original portrait of Joseph Sharpe, Esq. by Sir Joshua Reynolds : a sea-scape by Calcott : the detected correspondence, and a portrait of his late mother, by Opie : and various by A. Kauffman, West, Stothard, Wheatley, Ward, Glover, Barker, Westall, Morland, Arnold, and some fine drawings in water colours by Glover, Turner, Copley Fielding, Reinagle, Robson, Nicholson, Munn, and P. Sandby : which will by sold by auction, by Mr. Christie, at his great room, 8, King Street, St. James's Square, on Saturday, May the 30th, 1829, precisely at one o'clock : may be viewed two days preceding, and catalogues had at Mr. Christie's office, King Street, St. James's Square.
