Panorama, Leicester Square : this upper painting represents Weymouth, taken in 1805, when his Majesty was last there, from the outer pier : at which time the Abergavenny was seen as represented, with barges round her saving what property could be taken up : the flags at the mast-heads add so much to the beauty of the royal sovereign yacht, that it is hoped the public will excuse the liberty taken in keeping them up after His Majesty has left her, which is never done in the reality : the lower painting represents Lord Nelson's glorious victory, gained over the French and Spanish fleets, off Trafalgar, painted upon ten thousand square feet of canvas.
