1. A catalogue of a most valuable collection of prints, books of prints, drawings, and antiquities : late the property of John Strange, Esq. LL.D. F.R. and F.A.S. deceased, formerly British Resident at Venice : the prints comprise an extensive assemblage of V. Den Enden, and other fine impressions of the works of Ruben's, Bolswert, Galle, Pontius, Vischer, Soutman, Poilly, Roussellet, Daulle, Bloemart, Edelink, Spiere, Carracci, M. Antonio, A. Durer : Italian and Dutch etchings : views, &c. by Hollar : modern proofs by Bartolozzi, Strange, &c. : a most capital set of Swiss views by Aberli : drawings by Guardi, &c. : valuable books of prints and antiquities : a capital set of Hogarth's works, &c. &c. &c. : the antiquities consist of bustos, vases, bas reliefs, bronzes, gems, coins, medals, curious carvings in ivory and wood, Raphael's Ware, &c. &c. : which (by order of the executors, and pursuant to the directions of the will of the late John Strange, Esq.) will be sold by auction, by Mr. Christie, on the premises, on Wednesday, March 19, 1800, and four following days, (Sunday excepted), at twelve o'clock : may be viewed five days preceding the sale, when catalogues may be had (at one shilling and sixpence each) to be returned to purchasers.

2. A catalogue of a genuine and valuable collection, the property of a Gentleman : consisting of about thirty pictures of the first class of the different schools of Italy, recently arrived from Rome and Naples : together with a capital selection of the most perfect cabinet pictures, of the Flemish and Dutch schools : collected by him with great taste and liberality, during several journies on the Continent, at different periods, since the beginning of the French Revolution : with the nicest attention to their state of preservation, and by the most favourite Masters : comprising the works of Giorgione, Schiavoni, Paduanino, Domenichino, Carracci, Parmegiano, N. Poussin, Guido, Baroccio, Polydore, S. Ferrato, Rubens, Rembrandt, G. Dow, Wouvermans, Du Jardin, A. V. de Velde, Pynaker, Ostade, Bega, Poelemberg, Waterloo, Palamedes, &c. : particularly three exquisite cabinet pictures by Domenichino, and a capital portrait by Giorgione : among them are very few pictures ever on view in this country; of those few, are the Fiddler, by G. Dow, from the Orlean's Collection : and several first-rate pictures from the same and from the collections of Mons. De Calonne, Baron Nagel, &c. : which will be sold by auction, by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, Pall Mall, on Friday, May 9th, 1800, and following day, at twelve o'clock : note, no person can be admitted to the Museum through the late residence of Lord Cawder's, the only admittance is from Cumberland Mews.
