A catalogue of the capital and well-chosen collection of cabinet picture, of James Kirke, Esq., deceased : late one of the Commissioners of His Majesty's Victualling-Office : consisting of the undoubted works of the following, and other much esteemed artists : Parmegiano, Domenichino, Soleminie, Pasquilinie, Carache, Morillio, S. Darattie, De Vinci, Rubens, Vandyke, Poussin, Teniers, Ostade, Brower, Ge Gelder, J. Miel, Berghem, Scalken, A. Vandevelde, Ruysdael, Swanvelte, Cuyp, Watteau, Polemburgh : particularly, a select number of original and capital sea-pieces, by those great masters, Vandevelde, Bakhusen, De Vlieger, Stork, Brooking, &c. : which will be sold by auction by Mr. Greenwood, at his rooms in Leicester-Square, on Thursday the 21st, and Saturday the 23d of February, 1788, at twelve o'clock each day : to be viewed, and catalogues had two days preceding the sale.

4. A catalogue of the reserved collection of statues, busts, vases, urns, sarcophagi, &c. and other select and valuable pieces of antiquity : also sundry modern busts of exquisite sculpture, and highly finished, comprising a bust of Venus de Medicis, Shakespear, Stern, Cato the Censor, Scipio Africano, and other renowned and admired characters : several elegant statuary marble chimney pieces, and curious and scarce marble slabs, the property of Lyde Brown, Esq. : removed from his late residence in the city : also a small collection of Italian, French, Flemish and Dutch pictures, prints, drawings, &c. and a capital set of Brussels tapestry from Teniers, in excellent preservation : which will be sold by auction, by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, in Pall Mall, on Friday, May 30, 1788, and following day.

A catalogue of a superb and capital collection of pictures : comprising works of the most distinguished Masters of the Italian, French, Flemish, Venetian and Dutch Schools : the greater part of the Imperial Exhibition, and to the many capital pictures still remaining are added : The Virgin and Child by Corregio : a fine warm coloured Landscape by Both : the Inside of a Room, clear and Transparent, by Teniers : and a beautiful Cabinet Picture by Vernet, &c, &c. &c : also, an elaborate model of the celebrated Voltaire, a very striking Similitude : likewise a collection of scarce and curious exotic insects, containing specimens of most of the different genera, among which are Scarabeus Atlas male and female : Papilio Priam : some curious Mantes, and others equally rare : selected by a Gentleman in Holland, and other natural curiosities : which will be sold by auction, by Mr. Christie, at the Great Room, King Street, St. James's Square, on Friday, May the 23d, 1788, and the following day : to be publickly viewed two days preceding the sale, which will begin each day at twelve o'clock : catalogues may be had as above, and at Mr. Christie's : N.B. The insects, shells, minerals, &c. will be sold on the Monday following
