A catalogue of a magnificent, truly superb, and valuable collection of Italian, French, Flemish and Dutch pictures : selected with very superior taste, and at an unbounded expence, from several of the most distinguished cabinets in Europe, the property of Robert Heathcote, Esq. : among the numerous chef d'oeuvres of the great and most admired Masters in this splendid collection are two celebrated pictures by Claude, which formerly graced the cabinet of the Duc de Choiseuil : the Magdalen, Dominichino, from the Udney Collection : a magnificent portrait of Lorenzo di Medici : a production of the united efforts of Mich. Angelo and Seb. Del Piombo : the Virgin and Child, L. Da Vinci : various beautiful landscapes, by S. Rosa, G. & N. Poussin, Cuyp, Wouvermans, Du Jardin, Teniers, Potter, &c. &c. &c. : sea pieces by Vandevelde & Backhuysen : choice gems by G. Dow, Mieris, Metzu, Jan Stein, Turburgh, &c : flower and fruit pieces, by Van Huysem and R. Ruysch : a fine statue of the Apollo Sauroctonos : which will be sold by auction, (without reserve) by Mr. H. Phillips, at his Great Room, New Bond Street, on Friday, April 5th, 1805, and following day, at half-past twelve o'clock.

Werff, Cuyp, Jan Steen, &c. : also, a most capital Madona, with the Bambino, Raphael : the chess-players, by Titian ; Venus and Adonis, a chef d'œuvre, N. Poussin : a sea port, Claude : the interment of a cardinal, by Van Eyke, a picture of great antiquity : Jason with the dragon, by Sal. A catalogue of the renowned and valuable collection of Italian, Venetian, Flemish, and Dutch pictures : late the property of John Purling, Esq., deceased .: whose accurate judgment, pure taste and liberality in purchasing, rendered his Cabinet equal to most of the private galleries in Europe, and exhibits a magnificent assemblage of the works of Raphael, Correggio, Carracci, Guido, Domenichino, P. Da Cortona, Pamegiano, Titian, Tintoretto, S. Ricci, P. Veronese, C. Maratti, Claude, Poussin, Murillo, Cuyp, Rubens, Teniers, Wouvermans, P. Potter, Vanderwerff, Vandervelde, Berchem, Ferg, Zuccarelli,Wilson, &c. : including the beautiful picture La Vierge au Peloton, by Guido, well known to have occupied a most distinguished place in the Royal Collection of France : which will be sold by auction (by authority of the executors without the least reserve) by Mr. White, on the premises, no. 68 Portland Place on Monday, the 16th of February, 1801 and following day, at twelve o-clock : to be viewed till the sale, admission of each person by catalogues (only) which may be had at one shilling each at the place of Sale, and of Mr. White, Storey's Gate, Westminster.
